The creativity and imagination that naturally shows up when children play…it’s magical! It makes little sense with a logical lens, but complete sense with a heart lens. And that’s the power of play. It gives the heart space to create which empowers ideas, imaginations, possibility.
Play improves brain function and can connect us with others, which reduces stress and depression. Play boosts creativity, helps process difficult emotions, triggers the feel good chemicals called endorphins, gives us a sense of being supported, and gives us safe spaces to further investigate our likes and dislikes. What would it look like if you played more? Could it open you up to a source of problem-solving possibility?
What does play look like for you? Maybe its physical play, enjoying a hike in nature. It could be artistic play, creating a painting or attending a concert. Or it could be social play, coffee with a friend. What if your life could be more fun—and you could tap back into creativity and imaginative solutions as a regular part of your day? How powerful would it be to take a thirty- minute break, play, and have solution show up—as a regular part of your life!
As a frequency coach, I understand how mindsets can be either limiting or expanding. Consider the belief adults don’t play. If you believe that, you’re not experiencing play, and you’re missing out on a source of powerful creativity. How about this one—playing is for people who aren’t serious about life. If you believe any form of that, you’re likely not playing because that would mean you’re not working hard enough, or seriously enough. And, you’re missing opportunities to leverage the flow of creativity that’s inside of you.
If you’re ready to play, let’s talk!
